Oh My,

this has totally been the busiest month for us Steel Bananas folk. We've been running around like crazy people, attending shows, checking out new talent, and trying to keep up with personal projects while, for most of us, also keeping up with homework. This issue emerged from the sleepless haze of the last month with some really cool pieces, including interviews with Corbin Murdoch and the Nautical Miles, Montag and Josh Reichmann, coverage of the What Are you Doing Down There Arts Fest '09, previews of cafes and upcoming LG Fashion week, among new installments of Nerdventures and Trailer Trashin'. We've also released our first Call for submissions for a Literary Theme Issue on the topic of Fragmentation, check out the specs here. I really can't believe that we all somehow put this issue out, with the onlaught of work that hit us (to use Curran's phrasing) like a sock full of quarters.

Steel Bananas is only the sum of its writers and I must thank the good ol' SB team for coming through during a horrendously busy time of year, especially Sarah and Curran, who are Gods for running this thing with me, all while keeping things fresh and ripe - just how we like it.
